Loans discounted (Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, non-consolidated) as of the end of March 2024 increased by 1.8 trillion yen from the end of March 2023 to 33.7 trillion yen, mainly due to an increase in the balance of loans to corporate clients. Deposits (Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, non-consolidated)* increased by ¥2.0 trillion to ¥41.1 trillion, mainly due to an increase in deposits from corporate clients.
The balance of trust account (Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, non-consolidated) as of the end of March 2024 was almost flat from the end of March 2023 to 257.4 trillion yen.
