Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Asset Management (SMTAM)evaluates the climate change risks in the assets it manages first by asset class and then for the whole assets bycombining all the asset classes.

It uses two assessment methods: 1. a fixed-point analysis based on informationdisclosure and performance of the companies comprising the portfolio; and 2. a transition path analysis based on future climate change scenarios.

Below SMTAM discloses a summary of the results of SMTAM’s analyses of domestic and foreign stocks and bonds. Note that the analyses use data and methods of an external agency *1(base date: June 30, 2021).
